  • 2016 Children’s Activities

    This Summer will be packed with all kinds of fun! From June through July,  Starting a 9 AM.  All camps are based on grade completed. Scholarships may be available. Please contact the church office to register at 573-635-6886 or email!


    MAD (Music, Art, Drama) Camp

    June 6-10, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

    Children who have completed 1st-5th grade are invited to use their MAD skills and focus on planning, learning and preparing a musical production. Cost: $25 for the first child, $15 for siblings. Deadline: Friday, May 20.



    8 Flaming Fingers Puppeteer Camp

    June 27 – July 1, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    For children who have completed Ages: 3th grade through adult. Includes basic puppetry, black light, ballooning, God’s Rods/Sign Language, Prop making. Deadline: Friday, June 3.

    Cost: $25 for first child/teen, $15 for siblings; $10 for adults. Space is limited.

    VBS: Egypt: Joseph’s Journey from Prison to Palace

    July 11 – 15, 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon

    For children ages  4 yrs through 5th grade. There will be lots of music, games, snacks, Bible stories and fun! Deadline: Thursday, June 23.

    Cost is $20 for the first child, $10 for siblings.

    Service Times

    First United Methodist Church offers three worship services each weekend.

    SATURDAY – 5:00 p.m. A small, less formal service with hymns, liturgy, preaching and an opportunity to share personal prayer praises and concerns.
    SUNDAY – 8:30 a.m. A more formal traditional worship service with hymns, choirs, liturgy and preaching.
    SUNDAY – 10:00 & 11:15 a.m. A contemporary worship service with cutting edge music, drama and dynamic preaching.

    Communion is served on the first and third Sunday of the month.
